Who Am I?
I’m Mark, I’m originally from the U.K., but for the last 15 years I have been living in the United States. Helping people to learn English has always been the great passion of my life. I have worked in Europe, Asia, and The United States in a career that has lasted over 20 years.
What's my teaching philosophy?
After working with English learners of all ages and abilities for many years I decided to go back to school and get my Masters in ESOL (English for Speakers of other languages). My Thesis focused on English langauge identity, and this changed the way I teach. People build identity through postive experience in real situations, and in my lessons I try to create an environment where students can focus on real life interactions.
